2021
The Genesis Armenia initiative (a foundation in future), aimed at consolidating the pan-Armenian intellectual capacity, opened its office at 1/18 Azatutyun Street in Yerevan on January 31, 2021.
The opening ceremony was attended by the heads and representatives of Genesis Armenia professional groups, project managers and volunteers working with them.
The author of the initiative, Abraham Gasparyan, Candidate of Political Science, YSU Associate Professor, presented the strategy, goals and roadmap of Genesis Armenia, after which a discussion took place with the participation of the heads of the sectoral groups.
The professional groups working under the umbrella of Genesis Armenia will conduct research and studies and, based on their analysis, will draw up strategies for the development of education, healthcare, security, economy, international relations, Armenian Diaspora, IT, culture, environment, agriculture, energy and other sectors.
Genesis Armenia is a platform for generating ideas, a think tank, which will also organise discussions with pan-Armenian entities, large Armenian and international intellectual and scientific institutions. According to Abraham Gasparyan, Genesis Armenia will become the platform where pan-Armenian intellect and funds will meet, turning into strategic investments in Armenia and in the Armenian communities of the Diaspora.
The launch of Genesis Armenia was announced in Yerablur Military Pantheon on November 15, 2020, when the author of the initiative, Abraham Gasparyan, and like-minded friends burned the white flag symbolising defeat.
The office of Genesis Armenia will be open from Monday to Saturday, from 10:00 to 20:00. To visit, please register in advance by calling +374 93 48 33 94 or writing to [email protected]
