This, in turn, creates financial and structural dependency, generating a misbalance in the sovereignty and self-sufficiency of national (state) decision-making centers, all under the guise of \u201cinstitutional modernization\u201d or \u201csystemic restructuring.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The next step is to popularize a dubious, unrealistic and exaggerated role for a given state with \u201cintruded\u201d and vulnerable sovereignty, in order to justify or disguise this intrusion with questionable legitimacy. A key component for a state to become a geopolitical factor is the unrestricted accessibility of its land, sea, and air borders with neighboring states\u2014in simpler terms, having open borders. Armenia, for instance, does not have open and unrestricted borders due to horizontal blockades. What prevents Armenia from becoming a \u201cgeopolitical factor\u201d is a lack of <strong>new transport architecture<\/strong>, which is essentially a covert attempt to institutionalize and publicize corridor logic under the guise of <strong>\u201crestructuring the security system.\u201d<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">WHAT TERMS ARE USED<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00a0\u201cPeace,\u201d \u201ccorridor,\u201d \u201cintegration\u201d: these terms are not merely for enriching scientific categorical apparatus or academic use\u2014they form the architecture of strategic policy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The \u201c<strong>Peace<\/strong>\u201d Narrative<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Constructing this narrative involves terminological manipulation. For instance, think tanks such as The Council on Foreign Relations, The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, and The Brookings Institution use terms like \u201c<strong>durable peace<\/strong>,\u201d \u201c<strong>conflict transformation<\/strong>,\u201d \u201c<strong>post-conflict normalization<\/strong>,\u201d \u201c<strong>confidence-building measures<\/strong>.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Yet the real content of these terms is, de facto, legitimizing the balance of power by removing the status quo, bypassing justice and comprehensive interests in the peacebuilding process.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The \u201c<strong>Corridor<\/strong>\u201d Narrative<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Obvious limitations on a state\u2019s sovereignty are presented as constructive steps toward regional peacebuilding. Terms such as \u201cconnectivity,\u201d \u201ctrade facilitation,\u201d \u201ctransit routes,\u201d and \u201ceconomic corridor\u201d are used. The purpose of this rhetoric is to disguise political and geopolitical concessions under the guise of economic benefit, presenting reductions in state sovereignty as an advantage. This narrative avoids words like \u201cstate sovereignty,\u201d \u201ccustoms control,\u201d or \u201c<strong>security jurisdiction<\/strong>.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">This logic is followed by think tanks such as <strong>The Center for Strategic and International Studies<\/strong>, <strong>Atlantic Council<\/strong>, and <strong>The German Marshall Fund of the United States<\/strong>. Their research and analyses aim\u2014under the guise of academic legitimacy, theoretical grounding, and conceptual approaches\u2014to functionally undermine the territorial sovereignty of the weak subject from the conflicting parties and reduce their geopolitical weight in global logistic chains, turning a factor into an instrument.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The \u201c<strong>Regional Integration<\/strong>\u201d Narrative<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">These processes are presented as \u201c<strong>win-win<\/strong>\u201d scenarios or \u201c<strong>regional prosperity<\/strong>,\u201d but the real goal is to limit the political autonomy of weaker states, weakening their agency in global logistics and economic architectures, and deepening dependency.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>How to Construct an Armenian Counter-Narrative: Institutional Modeling as a Practical-Geopolitical Project?<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><strong>Conceptual Sovereignty: <\/strong>Exclusion of reactive counteraction and reproduction of foreign narratives in the scientific, ideological and political sense. The Armenian geopolitical counter narrative must be built on terminological sovereignty and external target work. Until linguistic thinking changes, politics does not change. In other words, Armenia cannot restructure its institutions and become Westernized without destroying ties with the CSTO and the Armenian-Russian bilateral security system.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The narrative of <strong>British think tanks<\/strong> centers on energy and regulatory platforms, using the \u201clanguage of peace\u201d and the vision of unblocking regional communications as a tool for investment confidence and closer relations. Almost all British think tanks unconditionally accept Turkey\u2019s pivotal and mediating role in this regard, as a regionally significant player, NATO ally and strategic complement.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">For <strong>French think tanks<\/strong>, peacebuilding is part of EU doctrinal policy and Pan-European (in reality, national) strategic autonomy. At the core of the narratives of these centers is ensuring a strong European political and civic institutional presence, ensuring a mediating and impartial, balancing presence in negotiation or peacebuilding processes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">In fact, the approaches of the main Western think tanks differ in formulation, but they coincide on a number of issues, in particular, in terms of regional realignments, changes in the military-political status quo, and changes in the transport and energy architecture.
